Guidelines, Booking Terms & Conditions Newcastle Bellydance Festival Dated 2 October 2022
I accept and agree to the following terms & conditions prior to proceeding with Payment online, by phone or in person for all bookings relating to the Newcastle Belly Dance Festival.
I am over 18 Years of Age or the Parent Guardian of a minor aged 12 or over and will be accompanying them to the Event, in the Exception they are attending a Workshop (see Minimum Age for Requirements to certain Events)

Festival Desk and Bookings at the Door
Last minute bookings are subject to availability at an increased cost, as per the prices displayed on the Festival Website, excluding Children’s Entry 3-12 Years to the Performers Bazaar which are Door Only.
A separate booking for each participant is required, multiple participant bookings for workshops will not be accepted. Festival Passes and Workshop packages cannot be shared between participants and must be booked by the Individual.
Children under the age of 18 attending workshops MUST be booked by a Parent/Guardian. The minimum age requirement for Workshops is 12.
Children including Infants, Friends and Family are NOT permitted under ANY circumstances into a Workshop unless they are a Paid Participant. Please do not ask to “watch” a workshop unless you are booked into the Workshop
In the event of Workshop becoming unavailable, you will be offered a place in another Workshop or a Refund will be issued (pro-rata prices apply to packages and passes).
Please see the door staff to register before entering a workshop.
Photo ID may be required for Workshop Attendance.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to Workshop Start Time to register your attendance.
Please leave within 5 minutes of the Conclusion of the Workshop
If you arrive Early and there is a Workshop running, please do not enter the room.
If you are attending a following Workshop in the same Venue, you must vacate the Room regardless.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water to each workshop.
Do not film or photograph teachers and/or students without permission, including posting on social media.
Be Respectful at all times.
Other Festival Events
Group bookings for The Dance Party, Dance Spectacular and General Entry to the Performers Bazaar are acceptable, however, you must arrive together with your group for entry. Tickets will not be held for individual names.
Confirmation Orders/Tickets and Entry to All Events
No physical Tickets are sent out. A Numbered Confirmation Order will be emailed to you after Payment is processed. You must print or Download your Numbered Confirmation Order which lists your Booking Details and have this Number ready for Entry/Re-Entry to Each Event . I understand that I may need to Show Photo ID upon request.
Dance Party, Concert & Sunday Bazaar Seating
There is no reserved seating. Some areas are Reserved for Performers & Event Staff Only. Please do not sit in these allocated areas as marked.
You will receive a Wrist Band prior to Entry. It is a condition of Entry that you wear the Wristband and present it to the Door Staff on Entry/Re-Entry.
Sunday Stall Holders
Second Hand Goods and Food Stalls are prohibited. Stall Bookings include entry for 2 people. Any additional persons assisting with the Stall need to purchase their own Entry. It is a condition of entry that all attendees must wear a Wristband.
The minimum age for attendance to the Dance Party is 18. The Minimum age for attendance to the Concert is 15 and minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Minimum age for workshops is 12. All Children under 12 attending the Performers Bazaar must be with a parent/legal guardian at all times.
Payments and Receipts
Instant Online Bookings: All payments are processed via Paypal. The Festival has no access to any of your financial details for payments made online. Your Paypal Receipt is your Proof of Purchase. Please print and retain a copy if required. (This is not your Order Confirmation into Festival Events).
A Booking Fee of 3.1% applies to all Festival Bookings
Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds do not apply to any Packages, Passes, Workshops, Dance Party, Concert & Bazaar Booking Purchases for cancellations, non-attendance or non-participation under any circumstances.
Workshop packages and Festival Passes (in entirety) and event entry tickets may be transferred at your request to another individual's name. All transfers attract an administration fee of $10.00. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your Booking Details and the details of the new participant, including name, mobile phone & email address..
Cancellation of The Festival
If the Event is Cancelled in Entirety by the Event Organiser, you will be advised via Email. A Credit will be issued for the new Festival Dates with a 14 Day period provided to request a refund. All refunds will be processed within 60 Days.
Cameras, Mobile Phones and Social Media
All recording devices are prohibited at the Dance Spectacular and must be turned off. If taking videos/photographs during any other Events, please be respectful and ensure you have permission from the people involved including posting anything to Social Media.
Natalie Bradford, Wild Phoenix Events, The Newcastle Belly Dance Festival, Employees, Volunteers, Venues, Venue Staff and Affiliated Businesses take no responsibility for loss, damage, personal injury or death caused through teaching, performing, participation, attendance or cancellation of any Festival Events. By Agreeing to these Terms & Conditions on purchasing entry to any of the events at the Newcastle Belly Dance Festival, you agree to participate, perform and attend at your own risk and waiver all legal obligations against Natalie Bradford, Wild Phoenix Events, The Newcastle Belly Dance Festival, Employees, Volunteers, Venues, Venue Staff and Affiliated Businesses.
