NBF 2027 Facilitator/Performer Applications are Now Open

We are now accepting Applications for Facilitators/Performers for Newcastle Bellydance Festival 12-14 March 2027!! Applications Close 29 June 2026.

Workshop Requirements

Please submit two (2) Dance or Drum workshop options. Workshops are to be 90 minutes in Duration.
All Belly Dance Genres are welcome.
You may also propose 1 or 2 creative workshop options (2 hours in duration). Performance is not mandatory for teaching these sessions.

If I am successful, I understand the information I have provided for my Bio and Workshop, Subject to Approval, will be published on the Newcastle Belly Dance Festival Website

I am available on 12 & 13 March 2027 between the hours of 9am-5pm to facilitate a workshop and between 7pm-11pm for performances where applicable.

I understand that by applying to Facilitate a Workshop, that I will be required to provide- 1 Solo and/or 1 Troupe Performance- at the Friday and/or Saturday Evening Events. Performance Day and Times are Determined by the Festival. I understand that all Troupe Members - where applicable, performing at these events, must have an advanced level of dance experience. This excludes applications for Creative Workshops, unless you also fit the Facilitator/Performer criteria and wish to perform.

I am not involved in any other Festivals or Large Scale Dance Events from 29 January 2027 - 6 weeks prior until the conclusion of the Festival - 14 March 2027.

I understand that if I am successful, I will receive an Agreement, which will need to be signed and returned with several Photographs, for Workshops and Performances (free from copyright, high resolution) within the Timeframe noted on the Agreement. **This is usually a quick turnaround, please have 2 photo options for your Workshop and at least 1 photo per performance ready to send by the Applications closing date.
